Mumbai, March 15 (Calcutta Tube) Actor Zayed Khan, who walked the ramp with Dia Mirza for designer Rocky S at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week, says he loves to pick clothes off fashion streets from different cities in the world.
‘I go and shop in Goa, I go and shop in Bangkok,’ said Zayed. ‘Quite honestly I feel that designers plagiarise stuff that is bought from the streets’ joked Zayed who walked the ramp in a formal suit.
Dia sported a white flowing evening gown and Rocky says the colour white always reminds him of the actress.
‘Dia is very feminine and she is young, sweet and innocent and white makes her beautiful. Every time I see white, I see Dia,’ Rocky told IANS.
The designer has styled the summer collection of the brand Cantabil and says his motive behind showcasing the range at the LFW was to break the myth that fashionable clothes are not affordable.
He offered a wide range of clothes – from sophisticated formal wear, party wear to casual and ultra casual garments.
‘The whole line is very fashionable and affordable. The first show was presented to show that affordable dresses could be fashionable. That was the whole energy of the show,’ said Rocky.
Zayed said: ‘Tonight’s show was to break the audience’s notion and show that affordable garment could look beautiful and stylish. Rocky never fails to impress. He always makes clothes according to everyone’s persona and physicality and makes sure we look our best.’
