February 22, 2010 (Calcutta Tube): Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi injured his neck while shooting the song ‘Oh Mere Khuda’ for his upcoming film ‘Prince- Its Showtime’.
This created a flutter of panic among the unit members, but producer Kumar S Taurani kept his cool and immediately called for a physiotherapist to Vivek’s rescue. Thereafter the therapist accompanied Vivek until he completely recovered and shot the song.
As the song was scheduled to be shot in 3 days time but due to Vivek’s unexpected injury it got delayed. But being a through professional Vivek gave his 100 percent to the song and remained in his vanity van for 3 consecutive days. “Vivek hurt his neck while shooting ‘Oh Mere Khuda’ but due to producer Kumar S Taurani’s presence of mind a major injury was averted,” reveals our source.
The song was shot on locations around Mumbai and it also marks the opening of the film. ‘Prince- Its Showtime’ would be Vivek Oberoi’s next major release after ‘Mission Istaanbul’ and it’s slated to release in March.
