March 3 2010 (Calcutta Tube): Bollywood singer turned actor Aditya Narayan who will seen in the upcoming Hindi movie Shaapit, talks about working with director Vikram Bhatt. According to Aditya, Bhatt would enact each and every scene of the movie to show his actors how it should be done. “I am grateful to Vikram for that,” says Aditya, “because I am still learning the craft. It was his constant guidance that helped me perform better. All credit goes to Vikram.”
Shaapit completes Vikram Bhatt’s trilogy of horror flicks. The movie also stars Shweta Agarwal in female lead, and is due for release on March 19.
In fact, Aditya has become so fond of Vikram that he would want to work with him more often in the future. “He’s an excellent teacher,” Aditya justifies.
Vikram Bhatt is known for his skills as a director, especially for the Hindi movies Ghulam, Raaz, and 1920, but very few people know that he is an actor par excellence. And that explains why most of his actors, although fresh, manage to deliver convincing performances.
And if you find out that Vikram Bhatt has opened up an acting school, remember, you heard about his talent here first!
