July 2, 2011 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): Kolkata’s only Pan Asian fine dining restaurant The Wall organized Vietnamese food festival, which is a first-of-its-kind food fest, on July 2, 2011.
The restaurant is serving assortment of dishes like Goi Cuon Tom (Fresh Summer Roll with Prawns & Fresh Herbs), Goi Cuon Ga (Summer Roll with Chicken Breast and Fresh herbs), Goi Cuon (Veggie Summer Roll with Banana flower & Lotus Root), Cha Gio (Fried Pork Spring Roll) and Cha Gio Chay (Fried Veggie Spring Roll) in its range of Summer or spring rolls.
Always on the lookout for bringing forth new culinary excitements, cuisine from Vietnam makes for the ideal choice in the menu card of the restaurant. Chef Sushanta Sengupta opines, “The culture of Vietnam is quite diverse and their food, with lots of culinary dishes are being prepared with mixed style. And the same flavor is carried by the restaurant in the City of Joy.”
