Mumbai, Mar 3 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): The latest muse of filmmakers in tinsel town Vidya Balan while filming for her upcoming flick ‘Kahaani’ managed to escape from a serious accident just by the skin of her teeth.
The ‘Ooh-la-la’ actress had almost fallen on the railway tracks at a Kolkata metro station while filming for one the scenes of the film in which she was supposed to run rearwards but unfortunately, she impinged on a weighing machine and tripped.
However, thanks to the director and co-producer of the movie Sujoy Ghosh’s presence of mind that he immediately sensed the bad situation and came to her rescue. Finally, after everything was fine, the shoot resumed.
Kahaani is seemingly a drama-thriller film whose story revolves around a pregnant woman’s search of her husband and the father of the child. Set in Kolkata, the flick stars, apart from Vidya, Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead role.
Apparently, this will be 34-year old actress’s fifth female-centric film after Paa, Ishqiya, No One Killed Jessica and The Dirty Picture. It is scheduled to release on March 9.
