Former Spice girl Beckham admits that shopping is like drug addiction.

Beckham, 35, flew into Milan, Italy – the fashion capital of the world – over the festive season and headed straight for her favourite designer stores in the city’s most expensive shopping street called Via Montenapoleone, reports express.co.uk.

Milan is home to exclusive couture houses Dolce & Gabbana and Giorgio Armani.

“I did spend too much,” the star, who is now back here confessed. “Shopping is like a drug. The more you have, the more you want. I would move in to the Via Montenapoleone if I could because when I am in Milan I don’t know how to walk past it. It’s as if all of those wonderful shops are calling out to me.”

Victoria picked up dozens of handbags, handmade shoes and hand-stitched evening and cocktail dresses.

She also walked away with 12 pairs of over-sized sunglasses, designer luggage and two bespoke suits for 34-year-old football star husband David Beckham.
