Uninor gets billing discounts for West Bengal, launches pricing plan

Kolkata, Feb 10 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) Uninor, a fastest growing pan-India Global GSM telecom service provider, on Wednesday announced the launch of DP STV26, a pricing plan where its subscribers of West Bengal can avail discount of  5-60% on per second billing base tariff on every STD call anywhere anytime.

This plan is available on a recharge tariff of Rs. 26 with a validity of 3 months.

The earlier Dynamic Pricing (DP) plan with per-minute billing will continue to be available in the market.

Announcing the offer, Akash Das, Executive Vice President, Kolkata Hub, Uninor, said, “This will certainly bridge the long distance and we are confident that our customers will be pouring their heart out to relatives and friends residing across the nation.”

Uninor is owned by the Norway based world’s 6th largest mobile services provider Telenor Group and India’s second largest diversified real estate major Unitech Ltd. The Telenor Group has invested INR 6135.63 crores through new shares to hold 67.25% majority stake in the company.

At present, Uninor services are available in the thirteen circles of UP (West), UP (East), Bihar, Orissa, Kolkata, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
