Kolkata, Nov 24 (Calcutta Tube/ IBNS) Kolkata based artist Rabin Bhattacharjee, with a flair for devotional paintings, is holding an art exhibition entitled as “Piety Depictions” from 23rd -27th of November at Chemould Art Gallery here.
Popular painter Suvaprasanna inaugurated the exhibition on Wednesday in presence of Tollywood actor and Trinamool legislator Chiranjeet Chatterjee.
“Piety Depictions” is one of Bhattacharjee’s solo exhibitions held at various cities in India.
Besides the depiction of Gods and Goddesses in his work, social issues form an integral part of his paintings.
Durga together with her family lying in a cornerstone is an eye-catching piece.
The large portrait of Ganeshji showering his blessings upon his disciples has garnered a lot of accolades from the spectators.
Portrayal of the picturesque 70s West Bengal, Global Warming, Dakshineshwar temple are his other contributions.
