Timex to launch fashion watches
Kolkata, Dec. 9 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) In this cutting age of competition, world’s largest watch maker Timex group plans to launch fashion watches in India soon.
“As the market is growing the taste of young generation is changing rapidly and they are getting bored with old steel and gold watches.
“They want fashion watches of various colours that match with the clothes. So we are planning to introduce fashion watches very soon,” said Angelique O’ Brien, Head of Retail Brands, Timex Group India Ltd.
On the sidelines of the launch of the 90th store of Timex at the Avani Riverside Mall in Howrah, she said the company is increasing its footprint in the eastern part of country aggressively and targeting to touch the 100th store mark very soon.
She also added that their target is to achieve Rs. 50 – 60 crore turnover by 2012 through retail.
