In attendance at TAN – The summer’s hottest show were the stars from Bollywood and icons from India Inc. Looking to deliver a lifestyle to fashionistas TAN redefined the concept of fashion shows by shifting the focus from clothes to Jewellery and accessories. On display at the event were nine themes put forward by nine leading jewellery brands and their designers. Each theme depicted a different collection signifying a different lifestyle.

The first of its kind jewellery show also had Mumbai first jewellery mall – ‘Jewel World’ as its presenting sponsor. Speaking on the synergies between the two Rajesh Vardhan, Managing Director, Vardhman Group says, "We are proud that Mumbai’s first Jewellery Mall is associated with India’s first jewellery show. The response that the show got is encouraging for every one! The people at 9to9 Events were inspired to come up with this concept when they realized that lifestyle extends way beyond clothes but unfortunately other aspects do not receive their due importance. According to Ritesh Bafna, Head, 9to9 Events the event is an effort of break the current clutter seen on the ramp today. He says, "We have several shows dedicated to fashion in terms of clothing but fashion and lifestyle extend beyond clothes. Jewellery and accessories make up a significant part of the lifestyle a person leads which is why the idea for TAN came up."

Commenting on the occasion Mr. Mehul Choksi, Chairman, Gitanjali Lifestyle said, "TAN is a great beginning. It is a unique platform where the giants of this industry representing their brands will come together. TAN is a great way to showcase the unity in the jewellery community."
The models were styled by designers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor and choreographed by Shaikh Shaki . (SAMPURN)
