Now director Irfan Kamal is very keen that Salman watch his film as he is so important to the theme. Shams, the lead actor, is a fan of the star in real life and he too wants Salman to watch his film.
Shams Patel, who won the best child artist National Award for his performance in ‘Thanks Maa’, is upset because he isn’t allowed to watch his own film as it has been given an adult certificate.
Even before the release of their film, Thanks Maa (by director Irfan Kamal), the production house Quantum Films Ltd has decided to bear all educational expenses of the slum children, who acted in the film. The young actors benefiting from this act of philanthropy are Salma (Soda), Faayaz (Cutting), Baby Almas (Sursuri), and Jaffer (Dhed-Shana).
