Why is Jeet worth mentioning?
Jeet is the only actor who broke the One-Man-Army hero Prosenjit Chakraborty in Calcutta Tollywood. For almost a decades now he has been the biggest competitor to Prosenjit apart from legendary  Mithun Chakrabarty who does occational superhit Bengali Films.

What is the Debut film of Jeet?
Telugu film titled Chandu in 2001
His second film “Saathi” directed by Haranath Chakraborty was a Super Duper Hit.

What is special in Jeet?
He is best in romantic movies. His soft voice and cute face is appropriate for modern age bengali youths.

How good is Jeet in action films?
Jeet proved himself pretty good in action films too. “Juddha” with co star Mithun Chakrabarty was a great hit. He has also done other action films like Naater Guru, Amar Maayer Shapath, Champion and Shongi.

Who is best opposite to Jeet?
Koel Mullick is probably the best against Jeet. However Jeet has paired with Rachana Baerjee, Rituparna Sengupta and more.

How great was Mumbai for Jeet?
Bollywood is still far away. He however did some music videos in Bollywood. He belongs to a business family and money has never been a problem for him so he decided not to rush for Mumbai.

Jeet does it himself. He even jumped 35 feet for some action scene.

Jeet and Swastika Couple is back after some time in Partner. The action-romance packed Bengali movie released in Calcutta on 1st August. Jeet is still considered as the Hero No. 2 in Tollywood and the film is still bringing some crowd to the movie halls. “Tantu Mere Santu Kore Debo” - Mithunda told someone!
Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai is 100% copy of Victoria No. 203 , a hindi movie released in 1972. So, this proved again that our Kolkata Tollywood Movie industry is at least 30 years behind Bollywood Movies. 100% duplicate story where Jishu Sengupta represents “Navin Nischal”, Mithun Chakrabarty and Chiranjeet Chakrabarty represnt Ashok Kumar and Pran, Koyel Mullick represents Saira Banu. Only difference is the hiding place of diamonds. Chore Chore Mastuto Bhai used a “TAXI” instead of an Victoria. Overall, a comedy type movie. Jishu did a good job as well as Koyel Mullick. Koyel is really sweet girl and looked hot in some dance scenes.

A good one for all Mithunda Fans!

90 Ghanta and Jor, Janmadata Released In Calcutta

90 Ghanta is now running in Calcutta. The movie is directed by Saugata Roy Barman. It has good star cast including: Jishu Sengupta, Swastika Mukherjee, Tota Roychowdhury, Manjushree Ganguly and many more. You can watch the movie at MITRA movie hall. 12 pm | 3 pm | 6 pm | 8.30 pm 4 shows everyday (in February). Another “big” release is JOR - directed by Swapan Saha. Jeet (who has been so far the best bengali hero by website poll along with Mithun Chakrabarty) is the main attaction in the movie. Jeet is really a very hard working actor and got good potential. Varsha Priadarshi, Subrat Dutta and Dipankar Dey are some of his co-stars in this film. You can watch JOR at “BIJALI CIMENA HALL”, “CHABIGHAR”, “MINAR, shyambazar”, “PADMA, Sodepur”, “PUSPASHREE, Behala” . Looks like a good time for bengali movie lovers as we also have Kailashe Kelenkari in Calcutta Too!
