Brief Review:

Bhanu Banerjee and Ruma Guha Thakurata made multiple successful comedy movies in Bangla. Personal Assistant is one of the best where we see this couple in leading roles. Bhanu Banerjee is a writer, to be precise, he loves writing poems. He was repeatedly losing jobs due to his forgetfulness till he was appointed as Personal Assistant of Ruma Guha Thakurata.  Ruma Guha Thakurata is the only child of rich Pahadi Sanyal and actually was looking for a female candidate but found Bhanu as the best applicant she got. She imposed some rules on Bhanu for the job thinking Bhanu will not accept the job, but to her surprise, Bhanu accepted everything. Then the movie continues and the “Bossy” Ruma Guha Thakurata fell in love with her Personal Assistant.

Tarun Kumar is wonderful as a friend of Bhanu Banerjee. Pahadi Sanyal is also great. A great music direction by Nachiketa Ghosh and songs by Hemanta Mukherjee. You will just laugh all the time watching this tremendous movie. Tulsi chakrabarty is one of the classic charecter in this movie. He is a publisher. Tarun Kumar agreed about a marriage between old Tulsi Chakrabarty and a young poem writer (Bhanu)!! So, Tarun Kumar never mentioned the sex of the write! You can tell what might happen in this situation. So, why wait?
