Kolkata, Apr 11 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): Swissotel Kolkata Neotia Vista on Friday unveiled its menu sporting mouth-watering authentic Bengali cuisine for the Bengali New Year or ‘Poila Boishak’.
Officials said that lunch and dinner is to be prepared accordingly keeping the interests of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guest in mind.
The lunch and dinner buffets comprise Shuktoni, Mochar Ghonto, Aloo Jhinge Posto, Palang Chhanar Kofta, Narkeli Cholar Dal, Kaju Kismis Pulao, Bhapa Sorse Bekti, Bangobo Sagarer Chingri Malai and Murgir Jhol.
Along with this Rosogolla, Mishti Dhoi, Malai Chumchum, Sandesh, Malpua, Channar Jilipi and Mishti paan will also be served.
People who wish to experience the fine food package and the festive ambiance at Cafe Swiss will have to cough up Rs 1,499 per person.
Executive Chef, Deepak Mishra said, “Poila Boishak is one of the most celebrated festivals in Bengal and we are taking this opportunity to serve people best Bengali cuisine.”
Foodies who want try out something else too won’t be disappointed. Chef Jyot Singh Rana said, “Along with the Bengali cuisine, Swish and Chinese dishes will also be available on the two-day food festival starting from 15th of April.”
