Suchona (2009)
Suchana is a Bengali Comedy Film directed by Arun Roy, starring Rahul and Priyanka. The Film is based on Mohon Bagan’s 1911 IFA Shield win, defeating East Yorkshire Regiment 2-1. Suchona is partly produced by Rahul himself. We will soon see a football player Rahul after extremely successful “Romantic Rahul” in “Chirodini Tumi Je Amar” and “comedian Rahul” in Jackpot. He will be scoring lots of glamorous goals in the film. Jisshu Sengupta is also playing a big part in the game being the captain of his team.

The film is complete and will be released soon. Rahul and Priyanka are working together in another upcoming film by Swapan Saha and we hope it won’t be as disasterous as “Ei Prithibi Tomar Amar”. Rahul is also working on another film by Ringo named “Risk” where he is portraying a Pitzza delivery boy. He is acting opposite to Rituparna Sengupta there. He is also busy with Parambrata’s first venture as a director in the Bengali fil “Jio Kaka”!

Suchona will be a great movie and we hope it could bring back the “Lagaan” feeling.
