London, Feb 15 (Calcutta Tube) Pop group Spice Girls have decided not to reunite for the BRITs awards. The group, involving Melanie Brown, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton, has been on a stand-by for the past couple of weeks following their nomination for Most Memorable BRITs Performance of the last 30 years.
[ReviewAZON asin=”B0010DJ2E6″ display=”inlinepost”]Organisers have refused to tell them whether they have won or not leading to the girls deciding not to reunite for the show, reports the mirror.co.uk.
‘The girls were going to try and be there. Nowadays with their hectic schedules it’s a nightmare trying to get them in the same place at the same time. But they were going to make it happen,’ said a source.
‘Victoria would have flown in from New York Fashion Week and Mel C was going to get the night off Blood Brothers on the West End.
‘But they were only willing to make it happen if it was worth all the effort and they won. But the Brits people refused to tell them either way, so they decided they’d be represented by a couple of them in case, but won’t make the effort to get them all together.
‘It’s a real blow,’ the source added.
