Sourav Ganguly launches first Bengali e-book

Kolkata, Mar 14 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): Former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly on Tuesday here launched ‘Jaya He’ by Gautam Bhattacharya which is being projected as the first Bengali language e-book.

Speaking at the launch, Ganguly said that focus and motivation is necessary to attend success in any field of work.

Speaking about the biggest motivation for any player, Sourav said: “Biggest motivation is ‘you’.  The biggest motivation of any player is at the end of day they must not think that they have failed. Failure happens but the thing is we have to be focused for the next game.”

When asked to him how to get charged up for the next goal after failure, he said: “Failure is bound to happen in any field. But I believe you have to make sure that you have more good days than bad days.”

But to achieve success one need to be focused. Commenting on how to be focused, Saurav said: “This is an individual matter and it’s very important but everywhere focus is important.”

“Focus has to be developed over time and you have to know how to relax because being mentally free is also important,” he added.

Talking about the objective of the book, Gautam said: “The main theme of the book is motivation and there are total 25 interviews in the book.”

US- based Databazaar Media and Kolkata-based Objectsol Technologies launched the first Bengali language e-book on both the Amazon Kindle and Apple iPad platforms.

Oney Seal, Founder and CEO of Databazaar, said: “We are going to do to Bengali books what we did to Bengali movies, that is, increase reach and revenue globally by bringing them to next- generation platforms.”

Eminent people from journalism, sports, films and literature, including Soumitra Chatterjee, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Dev, Koel, Parambrata, Swastika, Abir, Sunil Gangopadhyaya, were present on the occasion.

People become lonely at some point after tasting success, so one needs to handle the situation carefully and confidently. Commenting on this, Prosenjit said: “It’s true; but one should know how to utilize that time.”

“People should make the right use of time. I always try to find out time for myself because then only I will be able to reinvent myself,” he added.

“Behind every success a fear always remains and interestingly this fear motivates us for the next goal,” he said.
