Soren removes personal aide after IT raids

Ranchi, Feb 19 (Calcutta Tube) Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren Friday removed his personal secretary M.L. Pal after Income Tax (IT) raided his houses three days ago, an official statement said.

The Income Tax department Feb 16 conducted searches at 70 places in 13 Indian cities on properties of some senior officials, including Pal, in connection with the Rs.2,500-crore money laundering scam involving former chief minister Madhu Koda.
