Smritimedur (2009) Bengali Movie Review
“Smritimedur” is a Bengali/Bangla Movie directed by Sunit Bhattacharya. The movie has Indrajit Chakraborty, Ritwick Chakraborty and Shreelekha Mitra in lead role. The movie is a tale of love and sacrifice. Shreelekha Mitra was in love with a much older man in Tollylights, she is now in love with a much younger man in Smritimedur.

Casts: Indrajit Chakraborty (As Aritra), Shreelekha Mitra (As Smriti), Biswajit Chakraborty (As Abani Babu), Riwick Chakraborty (As Ayan) and more.
Director: Sunit Bhattacharya
Gist: A movie about eternal love concept. Smriti and Ayan are in love with each other but the past relationship of Smriti could not give the relationship any shape. Indranjit Chakraborty plays the role of sweet hubby who dies in an car accident and Ritwick Chakraborty comes into the picture. Reminds me about Sesher Kabita by Rabindranath Tagore.
Brief Story line:
However, they come closer over time and both of them expressed their feelings towards each other. Ayan promises to wait for Smriti until she is done taking care of her father in law. The movie end with the big long wait and sacrifice.
