Kolkata, Sept 28 (Calcutta tube / IBNS) Shoppers Stop is all geared up to woo women and men with its traditional “Utsav” collection just before the Durga Puja.
Model and actor Aparajita Ghosh with host of other models rocked the fashion runway as they showcased Indian wear from the limited-edition of Utsav collection on Friday at South City Mall here.
Aparajita, who looked dazzling in black saree from Kashish, said, “I like getting all decked up while wearing saree especially during festivals.”
The collection, she says “has different palate of colours like warm, bright, pastel shades according to different taste of different people.”
The Utsav collection is available in Shoppers Stop’s in-house brands- STOP, Kashish and Haute Curry.
The fashion show, which is part of the ongoing ‘Shoppers Stop Sananda Pujor Bazar,’ also showcased the Autumn-Winter & Festive collection in Indian wear brands available at Shoppers Stop.
Indian wear for women like kurtis with leggings, anarkali suits, and sarees were displayed by the models.
For men the festive collection is full of cotton churidars, short kurtis and sherwanis in rich colours.
The Utsav collection was full of rich shades of yellow, red, black, peacock blue and bottle green with rich golden brocade and rich zardozi work.
The fabric used was mainly brocade, silk, rich omate velvet and other fabrics.
The fabric used for sarees was net with heavy embroidery work which gives a festive feel.
Renowned make-up artist Nabin Das showcased the latest make-up trends this festive season.
Shoppers Stop is also giving away exciting prizes during the ‘Shoppers Stop Sananda Pujor Bazar’ at the purchase of Rs 3500 and more.
Shoppers Stop will be showcasing Autumn-Winter Western Wear collection on Oct 30 where Bengali actor Mousumi Ghosh will walk the ramp.
