Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011)-English Movie DVD release

Dec 1, 2011 (Calcutta Tube): Robert Downey. Jr and Jude Law reprise their roles as Holmes and Dr. Watson in the second installment of Sherlock Holmes film ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows’. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie and is one the most awaited films of this year, esp. for all the fans of Mr. Holmes.

In this suspense thriller the smartest sleuth on earth investigates a most intriguing case when the Crown Prince of Austria is dead and it is just the beginning. Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard analyzes it as suicide, though Holmes deduces it as murder and part of a much more heinous crime. The criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty is back. The investigation take Holmes and Watson from England to France, Germany and Switzerland along with a gypsy woman who helps woman in return of saving her life. But Moriarty is no ordinary opponent. And Holmes somehow needs to put an end to those evil, destructive plans.

All the Conan Doyal characters Mycroft Holmes, Inspector Lestrade, Moriarty are present with all their shades and hues in this suspenseful story byGuy Rithie. The screenplay is by Michele Mulroney, Kieran Mulroney.

Others in the cast are Eddie Marsan, Stephen Fry, Noomi Rapace Jared Harris.

The film is all ready for a big Christmas release on Dec 16, 2011.
