Century Ply is enamored with the charisma of Shahrukh Khan and have partnered with a SRK movie earlier. Therefore taking the same trend ahead, they have partnered with SRK’s biggest film of 2010 ‘My Name Is Khan’.
‘My Name Is Khan’, is a movie wherein the protagonist goes through various ordeals in life to achieve the unattainable. Rizvan Khan, a Muslim man from India, moves to San Francisco and lives with his brother and sister-in-law. Rizvan, who has Asperger syndrome, falls in love with Mandira. After September 11, 2001, Mandira is devastated and they split. To win her back, he embarks on a touching and inspiring journey across America. Rizwan Khan’s strength to go on through every upheaval is integrated with the brand philosophy of Century Ply.
Shahrukh Khan says, “Century Ply has always come up with a theme or slogan that goes with the theme of movie and doesn’t look out of place. My earlier film ‘Billu’ was also associated with this brand. I have liked their present slogan ‘Strength to go on’ and it goes very much with the story of Rizwan of ‘My Name is Khan’. It actually could have been slogan of my film!”
Addressing the media, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, Jt.
