I want to see the film
The most raw and uncultured things have been put into the website. People should not misutilize the calcuttatube by putting this type of movies.
heck of a subversive cult. biting satire and some good cameraworks by chandril. most likely to evoke rage and accolades at the same time.

Did you understand what I wrote in the review? Nope? Well I didn’t understand the movie as well, so how could I write anything!! I will try again when smoking some really good stuff. Lets see what one needs to understand whatever Chandril wanted to convey. I think I need to start with LSD.

This movie creates frustration and outrage at the same time . Its sad to see people bringing down the name of an institute named after a genius who showed the world what sensitive cinema is all about .
Please understand that whoever has made this film is just wasting time , movie making is not your cup of tea !

the film is all about hipocracy and all the things that we have a desire inside but feel shy to express it…and instead of admitting that we blanket that feelings with intellectuality or rather unnecessary intelectuality.the film is very ironic and the most important part where God comes and punished that lad who doesn’t even know what he wants,and also admits that he scolded God in a debate just to project a fake image where he actually being agnoistic…or is not sure about the existence of God…but he goes to library not to study but to find God…and the finishing touches the soul as where the director of the movie and protagonist chandril gets blind by God…and the moral of the story is some people glorify the pletonic thing where they actually doesn’t beleive that personally.they are hungry inside…but failed to express even a true feelings.a story of useless unambitious people who don’t want to rise or they don’t have that guts to fall even…they are stagnant like shallow water.and what we can expect in a foreign film,we can’t accept the same in the film of our language…but our ancient history says a different story…so guys when we will get over this Victorian ethical syndrome and collonial effect where our country having such a open system in past where the main content of an epic or story was sex…

It’s not really a so called “movie”. This was done by Chandril as a group project during his study at the Satyajit Roy film institute. Some of us are intellectuals while some others are hyper. I would rather stop just here.

I think the message (or the face of the society it has tried to capture) of the movie is much deeper than what is shown in the reel. One should not give much importance to adult scenes or use of “vulgar” words. The movie is big slap on the face of so called decent intellectual bhodrolok bengali cultures. The flag bearers of this culture have two faces at the same time – one they actually are, and the other to show to the society. I appreciate Chandril Bhattacharya that he dared to make this movie. It is evident that the script and camera work are very matured. I think he has enough materials to make serious movies for those who are only ready to see the reality though the unreal glass of non-vulgarity.

Comment This short film has done an excellent projection of Calcutta’s emerging low-life, jobless subculture. The frustration of both male and female Bengali youths is very well depicted. Kudos!
My only objection is the rampant mispronunciation of the word “penis”. This is pronounced as “pee-nus” and not as “pay-nis”.
