Rock Bands THE COLORS launch music video TUM MILE in Kolkata

Kolkata/August 22 (Calcutta Tube): Hindi Rock music band from Eastern India, ‘The Colors’ organized the first screening of its new music video ‘Tum Mile’ Thursday night (Aug 19, 2010) in Kolkata.

Kolkata, Aug 19 (IBNS): Hindi- Rock music band from Eastern India, ‘The Colors’, promises to highlight various human emotions through their pop- rock and semi- classical based music compositions to their fans.

“We are doing different types of music from other bands, our compositions are based on pop-rock and Semi- Classical genre,” said Nilanjan Mukherjee, guitars/backing vocals of the band ‘The Colors’ at the first screening of their new music video ‘Tum Mile’.

“We attempt to go beyond the black-and-white domain of reality to interpret the complex hues of human emotions through our music,” he added.

The band also performed live at the event.

Speaking on their upcoming projects Nilanjan told IBNS: “We are working on our next album, with which we promise to venture into a more experimental sphere of music.”

“We are also going to participate in the Hindi Rock Festival at Bangalore, next month,” he added.

‘The Colors’ music band is working together for the past two-and-a-half years and they released their first album ‘Naya Din’ in January.

Moreover, their track named  ‘Jannat’ from ‘Naya Din’, topped the charts of a few local radio stations within two weeks of the album’s release.
