The fight about revenue sharing is still going on between producers and multiplex owners and the releases of this week are probably some of the least important films that has little “market value”.
Life was very monotonous and straight till she meets Kumar after 32 year on the way. Kumar has lost his wife during the birth of his child. Labanya and Kumar fail to control their feelings and the love that remained sealed way inside their heart is now finds a new freedom. They starts to meet and have sex secretly till Labanya is caught by Sashanka (Sabyasachi Chakraborty). However, Sabyasachi Chakraborty accepts the extramarital relationship of his own wife and let her continue the relationship with Kumar. Sashanka has nothing to lose or gain at his age. Their son stands up to protest the illicit relationship of his mom.
A strong story with a stronger statement. The film lacks many things but it does tell a different story. An old person accepting his wife’s bed relationship with another person. This is a type of movie which you like it or hate it.

Where is the strong story and strong statment? Debanik probably fantasize every night about his own sex life. Don’t young directors learned from eminent Bengali ditectors. Just to have some typical prem and some sex becomes the consistent thematic subject
in bengali movie by these young directors. Do you called it was targeted towards inteclectual bengali movie goers? It is realy shame. Is not it a perversion for a man to watch his wife as a lover and bed partener for sex with others. We called it bold and strong that happens in swinger’s club in europe. Reviewer please change your profession so that you can earn money by doing something else instead of writing this kind of scrap.

At CT, we try to find the good parts in Bengali films. Sometimes it is really hard to find anything good out of some of the Bengali Films, but still we try not to be too harsh.
Everybody criticize and over criticize the Bengali Movies. Come on friends. Where is the support for the young directors? They are starting their career. Let them do some work.
