New Delhi, April 15 (Calcutta Tube) Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has denied reports that he has started working on his long-awaited project ‘Heroine’, saying nothing has yet been finalised.
‘Media speculation about me doing next film ‘HEROINE’. Just 2 clear, Nothing final yet. M working on 2-3 scripts and will decide soon what 2 make,’ Bhandarkar wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
Earlier, Kareena was supposed to play the lead role in the film, but she opted out after the film got delayed. Recent reports also suggested that Aishwarya Rai has agreed play the part, but Bhandarkar refused that too.
No body double for Mimoh
His first film may have not performed well at the box-office, but actor Mahakshay Chakraborty a.k.a Mimoh seems to be putting in an extra effort to make his new 3-D film ‘Haunted’ stand out.
The film’s action director, Abbas Ali Moghul, was apprehensive about him performing the stunts and advised him to use a body double, but Mahakashay, son of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, refused.
‘I have had an absolutely fantastic time shooting for this particular action sequence. Though I got few swellings, the entire chandelier shot, the entire effect came out beautifully,’ said the young actor.
‘In a particular sequence, a chandelier falls on Mimoh and he had to roll on the ground before the chandelier bursts beside him. We were little worried, but Mimoh decided to do it all by himself. Though everyone on the set suggested we use a body double, Mahakshay was very excited about doing it himself,’ Abbas said
The film is directed by Vikram Bhatt and also stars newcomer Tia Bajpai.
