Shooting for upcoming Bengali film ‘Nir Hara Pakhi’ started at Technician Studio in Kolkata on Thursday.
The movie is directed by Rajsekhar Bose and produced by Alok Sen.
Bose said, “It is a story of four brother and one sister, where big brother is a father like figure to all and the small brother is a spoil brat and is not liked by the family members. One day the small brother with his friends visited the red-light area and saw his sister, who was lost ten years back.”After that day he regularly started visiting the area and tried to rescue his sister from there but faces many difficulties but finally manages. Then she was not accepted by the family but when one of the sister-in-law had kidney faliure then the sister donater her a kidney a saves her life and finally been accepted by the family.”
The film stars Priyanka Ghosh, Raj, Pamela, Avilash, Anamika Saha, Biswajit Chakroborthy, Sumit Ganguly and others.
Talking about her character, Pamela said, “My character is Megha, who is a very naughty and lively girl. I get involved with Raj in a relationship. I had a misunderstanding with Raj because I discovered that he visits red-right areas regularly. But after it got resolved, I help him to rescue his sister from there.”
The film will be shot mostly in Kolkata and and small part will be canned in North Bengal.
The music is scored by Soumita Kundu and the dance sequences will be choreographed by James.
Shreya Ghoshal, Jojo and Nachiketa have done playbacks for the film.
The shooting is expected to wrap up by end of April.
