After a long time I saw a matured Bengali movie. It is really a very good and interesting movie. For a long time, specially in 1990 s Bengal did not produce much positive things, as most of the films were just groping in the dark. The themes in 1990s were mainly broken human relations looked from a pessimistic point of view. This film is particularly focussed about the problems it wants to address and it does so in a beautiful manner. Hats off to Rupa Ganguly for portraying such a complicated but inherently strong character. A complicated but very much real problem has been addressed in the movie and the director did not take any short cut to give a simple solution of problem, the film evolved in its own natural course and got a perfect finish.
