Kolkata , Aug 18 (Calcutta Tube/IBNS) : Actor Raima Sen is set to share screen with debutant from Bangladesh Mustafa Prokash in Bengali film ‘Natobar Not Out’. At the music release of the film at Mukti World’s Bluzz here Tuesday night, all actors of the film were found in high spirits.
The launch was for a noble cause as Mahua Lahiri of Asha Audio said a certain amount of money from the sale of each audio CD would be contributed to Help Foundation-an NGO looking after special children.
Almost every crew member was present at the launch making it even more happening.
As host-actor Mir rightly said: “All the characters are like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. It’s not just Natobar’s film, it’s about every character.”
The film, directed by Amit Sen, is an out-and-out comedy starring Raima and newcomers Mustafa and Ananya Dutta, among other eminent actors like Sudeepa Bose, Kharaj Mukherjee,Kaushik Ganguly and Kamalika Banerjee.It is about a typical North Calcutta guy Natobor who aspires to become a poet.
The music by Debajyoti Mishra is very fresh and peppy and the songs are sung by Shreya Ghosal,Anindya Chatterjee,Upal Sengupta,Raghab Chatterjee and others.
Funnyman Mir has also sung the foot-tapping title track along with Anwesha Dutta Gupta,Arijit Chakraborty, Kharaj Mukherjee, Ipsita Baral and the song is already a hit.
When asked about it, the optimistic Debajyoti said,”After film ‘Shukno Lanka’, this album is going to make people crazy”.
Moonmoon Sen, who has a special appearance in the film as a crooner, looked gorgeous in a black saree and sounded very enthusiastic about her song.
Accompanying her was her pretty daughter Raima, who also sounded thrilled about the music,
“It’s very refreshing”, she said.
Mustafa looked quite at ease with his new space in the industry and sounded hopeful about the film.
As the director said, “The music is very soothing and apt to the theme of the film.”, we also think that the music is in perfect sync with the storyline and hope it works wonders for the film.
