Modi draws BJP workers at party conclave

Indore, Feb 18 (Calcutta Tube) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi drew much attention on the first day of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national executive meeting at Indore as his speech during the resolution on internal security drew repeated applause.

Modi, who went around the tented township erected for the conclave near Indore in Madhya Pradesh in the morning, had party workers following him in good numbers.

He also earned praise from party chief Nitin Gadkari, who said that Gujarat had presented a unique model of development under Modi’s leadership.

Apart from Modi, Chhattisgarh’s Raman Singh was the other BJP chief minister who spoke during the first day of two-day council meet.
