The students of Instituti Callegari, along with television celebrities Sana and Alina (of Bigg Boss fame) and fashion models Priyankaa, Nayana, Mohini and many others showcased stunning creations for a charitable cause today in Mumbai.
The students will also auction some of the outfits and the proceeds given to charity, said Rakesh Kabra of Istituti Callegari, Mumbai.
Istituti Callegari Milano – which holds a 51 per cent stake in the Indian counterpart – and part of Europe’s biggest education sector giant CEPU, announced a unique Indo-Italian fashion and interior designing course in Mumbai wherein course toppers would be sent for an all expense-paid internship programme in Italy and their designer outfits will be displayed at the Callegari Studios in Milan and Mumbai. The event was attended by prominent models and actors from the television fraternity and co-ordinated by Flynn Remedios of Futuristic Media Network.
Speaking to media persons at the Fashion Show, Namrita Kabra, President, Istituti Callegari Mumbai, said, “Istituti Callegari Mumbai is an Indo-Italian collaboration wherein the fashion-interior designing courses are ‘made in Italy while incorporating the best of Indian tradition”, adding that toppers of each batch will get an opportunity to intern in Italy with globally renowned fashion giants such as Valentino, Prada, La Perla, United Colors Of Benetton, Diesel and Replay amongst others. -Sampurn Media
