April 24, 2010 (Calcutta Tube): Actress Mamta Mohandas will be seen in Ameer‘s film Aadhi Bhagavan. Aadhi Bhagavan will reportedly be made in Tamil as well as in Telugu. The latter will apparently star upcoming talent Rana Daggubati as the lead.

The actress is making big waves in her acting career by bagging significant roles in various flicks. The talented star ventured in Tollywood opposite NTR but disappeared from the scene for a while.

However, now the dazzling damsel is on cloud nine as she has been offered a role by none other than famed director Ameer in his forthcoming project, Aadhi Bhagavan. Her role, of an NRI, is crucial to give a smooth movement to the plot.

Mamta is currently busy with her upcoming Malayalam movie, Anwar where she portrays a powerful role of a Muslim girl. The poster of the movie has already generated ample buzz. It was these posters that left an impression on Ameer and he finally offered Mamta the role in Aadhi Bhagavan.

The actress has also bagged a few awards, including the FilmFare award, but for her singing skills. It seems during the lull in her acting career Mamta successfully tried her hand at singing and is now a regular under Devi Sri Prasad. However, with two films in her kitty, the actress is all set to make a comeback with her acting career.
