And keeping up with the trend, this time we hear that the channel has approached feisty celebrity transgender and social activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi.
However, this will not be her first appearance on a reality show as she has already forayed into the non-fiction genre by participating in shows like Sach Ka Saamna and Raaz Picchle Janam Ka.
Colors will be donning a new schedule in October, which will be sparked by the launch of ‘Bigg Boss 5′.
Colors has confirmed that ‘Bigg Boss 5′ will launch on Sunday 2nd October at 20:00 and will air Monday to Friday in the late night slot of 22:30 and at 22:00 on Saturday and Sundays.
It is currently not clear what will happen to shows ‘Na Aana is Des Laado’ and ‘Mukti Bandhan’ which currently occupy the weeknight 22:30 – 23:30 band.
However, ‘Veer Shivaji’, which launched a few weeks ago on Friday/Saturday evenings, is expected to expand to the Monday to Friday 20:30 slot replacing ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’. ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’, which has been a long fixture of Colors’ primetime schedule, is likely to move to afternoons.
