Kolkata, Feb 13 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): Celebrities from the world of film, politics and music paid glowing tribute to late legendary lyricist Gouri Prasanna Majumder at a function here on Friday.The event was organised at Najrul Manch by event management company Roop Entertainments on the occasion of the 25th death anniversary of the lyricist.
The event witnessed notable personalities like Mayor Sovan Chattopadhay, who lit the lamps for the event aided by Bengali film stars.
Actors Madhabi Mukherjee, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Shatabdi Sen and Debashree Roy graced the occasion.
Singers like Shaan, Bappi Lahiri, Emon, Srikanta Acharya, Lopamudra Mitra livened up the evening with songs and remembrances of the late legend.
