Kolkata music studio named after Lata Mangeshkar

Kolkata, Aug 10 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar‘s niece Radha Mangeshkar inaugurated a state-of-the-art digital sound recording studioLata Didi’s Sound‘ at Southern Avenue in Kolkata on Monday.
Lata, who was also present in the city, could not attend the function organised by Indo Occidental Symbiosis (IOS), due to health problems. Singer Usha Uthup and Shouvik Dasgupta, IOS Chairman, were present at the event.
The studio is equipped with several cutting edge technologies required for sound recording and mixing and has been flaunted as a state-of-the-art facility that guarantees dream like experience for new age music composers and singers.
Speaking at the occasion, IOS Chairman Souvik Dasgupta said, “West Bengal has already proven its worth in the music industry in terms of vocalists, music composers and instrumentalists. In order to sustain this legacy this studio will add more value as we believe.”
