Kolkata hosts Kebab and Beer Festival

Kolkata, May 17 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): Kolkata based Chrome Hotel announced its Kebab and Beer Festival at its newly opened Khanasutra restaurant in the city on Wednesday.

Sagnik Mazumdar, chief chef of Khanasutra, said: “Doing little but doing well is the mantra of our success. Thus we came up with this idea to satisfy our patrons with exclusive kebabs and drinks.”

“Bengalis are always very fond of food. So we thought of treating them with special kebab items for lunch and dinner to tantalize their taste buds like never before,” he said.

When the chef was asked about the uniqueness of the festival, he said: “The food fest offers an exquisite menu of tempting kebab platters like special vegetarian kebabs that includes ‘Makai Malai Tikki’, ‘Paneer Tikka Kesari’ and non-vegetable platter like ‘Chilli Milli Kebab’, ‘Mutton Seekh Kebab’.”

Asked about his preference in kebabs, the chef said: “I personally prefer a lamb preparation named ‘Kakori Kebab’. The specialty of this kebeb is it very soft and melts in the mouth. It is an authentic dish from Lucknow.”
The fest will continue till May 31.
