London, Feb 3 (Calcutta Tube) Johnny Depp is set to direct a documentary on rock legend Keith Richards, who has given his nod for the project.

The venture will be Depp’s first directorial project since 1997′s ‘The Brave’, reported imdb.com. ‘I’m very touched that Keith has agreed to show up in front of my cameras,’ he said.

Depp and Richards are long-time friends and the Rolling Stones star played the actor’s father in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’.
