Singh gave no opportunity to Ghuraiya in the second set as the former took no time to bag the set by a clean 6-1. In the decider, Ghuraiya was up a break from the very beginning and held his serves to close the match by 6-4.
Kolkata, Jan 23 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) Unseeded Kapil Ghuraiya of Haryana ousted fourth seed in the qualifying draw of Boys Singles, Maninder Singh by a long 2 hours 20 minutes battle at the ongoing ONGC ITF Juniors 2011, being held at the red clay courts of the Dakshin Kalikata Sansad here on Saturday.
Singh was 5-2 up with 40-0 in the opening set, from where Ghuraiya turned the table and took the set to a tie breaker where the later grabbed the set by 8-6, in spite of been 0-5 down in the breaker.
