Kolkata, Sept 22 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) Indian Plastics Federation (IPF) has announced to launch an International Exhibition in Kolkata in 2012.
The exhibition titled Indplas’12 , which will be the 6th International exhibition on Plastics, is going to be held from Oct 5 to 8 2012 at Science city Ground.
“Eastern India is a ready market for new enterprenuers with existing and growing demand for finished products products being catered from outside India,” he said.
“Lateral growth in the related industries such as cement sector, food processing automobiles, cold storage and handling, infrastructure and housing, agriculture etc are acting as drivers for growth in this region,” he said.
Rabin Mukhopadhyay, senior vice-president – Procurement and Chemicals Marketing at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd seemed optimistic about the developments as he said that internal buying power of India is increasing and this would facilitate the objective of the project.
Indplas’12 would also facilitate generation of funds for constructing the proposed IPF Knowledge Centre to be located at the Poly Park at Sainkrail, 28 km from Kolkata.
