International Art Meet pays tribute to Rabindranath Tagore

Kolkata, Oct 19 (IBNS) International Art Meet in Kolkata is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of world bard Rabindranath Tagore.

Dimension 4, a non-profit organization, in collaboration with West Bengal Federation of United Nations Associations (WEBFUNA) and Indian Council for Cultural relations (ICCR), organized a live presentation and interactive session by the participating artists of International Art Meet at MohorKunj in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Ujjal Biswas, Minister-In-Charge, Department of Youth, Government of West Bengal was present at the event.

The reputed artists displayed their skills and interacted with the talented youngsters and budding artists at the venue.

The event comprises of twenty-one highly reputed artistes from USA, Denmark, Kenya, Tunisia, Germany, Fiji, Sweden, Egypt, Lithuania, Malaysia, Italy and India, who have come together in Kolkata, to pay tribute to the immortal personality and acclaimed painter, Rabindranath Tagore.

Anne Louise (Denmark), Mohamed Ibrahim (Egypt), Marisa Caichiolo (USA), Babita Das and Tinku Das (India) are some of the artistes involved.

The art meet will continue till 23rd October from 11am to 7pm at ICCR gallery.
