India’s most loved and much awaited music talent show is back with its fifth season. ‘Indian Idol’ has created a niche for itself as the biggest singing talent show in India.

February 11, 2010 (Calcutta Tube): India’s most loved and much awaited music talent show is back with its fifth season. ‘Indian Idol’ has created a niche for itself as the biggest singing talent show in India. Throughout its journey over the last 4 seasons, not only has it garnered immense support from all but more importantly managed to capture the imagination of youth in India like no other show. It remains the only show, where an ordinary Indian can fulfill his dream and aspiration of achieving an extra-ordinary position.

This season, while the show will continue to enthrall the viewers across the country, the search has begun for that one voice that will touch a billion hearts. The promotions of ‘Indian Idol 5’ have begun with ex-Indian Idol contestants traveling to various cities to promote the show. Deepali Kishore flagged off from Allahabad (February 9); Parleen in Chandigarh (February 13); Ankita in Udaipur (February 15); Amit Sana and Meenal Jain in Jabalpur (February 18); Chang in Nagpur (February 20) and Emon in Hoogly (February 28). These ex- Indian Idols will not only move around these cities with a trail of cars informing people about ‘Indian Idol 5’, but also give away few ‘jump-the-queue’ passes to select people inviting them to the auditions next month.

The auditions of ‘Indian Idol 5’ will commence from the month of March. The auditions will see ‘Indian Idol 5’ judges going to each center to pick for great voices.
