Shimla, June 9 (IANS) The Himachal Pradesh government will raise a task force for effective maintenance of law and order in industrial areas, an official said here Wednesday.
‘The cabinet today (Wednesday) decided to set up state industrial task force on the pattern of the Central Industrial Security Force,’ a government spokesperson told IANS.
He said 1,024 educated youths would be employed in the industrial task force.
Himachal Pradesh has 38 industrial areas and 15 industrial estates.
Since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in the state in December 2007, as many as 3,156 industrial proposals worth Rs.12,585.61 crore have been cleared.
