Harry Potter fans bid farewell at last film premiere

London, July 8 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): It was an emotional moment for millions of Harry Potter fans on Thursday as the world premiere of the last film of the Harry Potter series was held at London‘s Trafalgar Square.

[ReviewAZON asin=”B001UV4XI8″ display=”inlinepost”]An emotional JK Rowling who created the young wizard said “Thank You” to his fans at the iconic ‘Trafalgar Square’ on Thursday during the premiere show of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II’.

“Thank you for queuing up for the books for all those years, for camping out in a wet Trafalgar Square,” Rowling said, addressing her fans who had gathered to bid adieu to their favourite series.

Daniel Radcliffe, who reached fame and reputation by potraying Harry onscreen, was present at the event on Thursday.

He said that he proud of the last Harry Potter film.

He has played the character of the young wizard in all the films.

“Each and every person, not just here in this square but around the world who have watched these films for the last 10 years, they will always carry the films with them for the rest of their lives,” he addressed to his fans as quoted by BBC.

The stars spent significant amount of time to sign the books for their fans and make themselves immortal in their book shelves.

Actor Emma Watson was also present on the emotional day of their career.
