Chiriyakhna is a Bengali detective movie by Satyajit Ray based on the Saradindu Bandopadhyay’s Chiriyakhana. The film casts Uttam Kumar as the famous detective Byomkesh Bakshi and Sailen Mukherjee as his assistant-friend Ajit. Ray has made some cosmetic changes to the main story, though. A great suspense movie to watch.
