As per the rules of the show, the House has no television, phones, internet, clocks, pen or paper and no connection with the outside world.

“It’s a unique environment to live in – dreamy, yet frustrating for some! And as time and tempers fly, it grows on the viewers and turns into what I term a House of Scandal,” said Bigg Boss specialist Dale Bhagwagar.

The publicist has handled the media for reality show contestants including Shilpa Shetty (during Celebrity Big Brother), Ashmit Patel, Amar Upadhyay, Rakhi Sawant, Kashmera Shah, Vindu Dara Singh, Sherlyn Chopra, Shamita Shetty, Zulfi Syed, Diana Hayden and Pooja Misrra (Bigg Boss), Kashmera Shah (Steal Ur Girlfriend), IshQ Bector (Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachcho) and Natasha Suri (Big Switch).

Mumbai, June 12 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) Popular Marathi actress Kishori Shahane will enter Zee TV’s show Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli.

Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli began as a poignant portrayal of a girl’s love for the house where she grew up and the endless memories that she cherishes about her growing up years has now become a suspense thriller.

Mine will be a positive character but with shades of grey.

“Hope audiences like me in my new avatar,” she said.

Bigg Boss 6 to start from Oct 1 with Salman Khan as host?

Mumbai, June 13 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) India’s popular reality TV show Bigg Boss Season 6 is likely to start on October 1.

According to reports, actor Salman Khan will be hosting the sixth season of Bigg Boss.

Sharib Sabri, music composer and singer, will participate in the show.

Sharib recently finished a singing reality show “Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star 2″ and the singer took a lot of pangas while on the show.
In the wake of his daring attitude, the production house zeroed in on Sharib’s name as one of the contestants for the next season of “Bigg Boss”.
“The production house decided on Sharib because he is a very honest person and cannot take anything wrong happening around him,” said sources.

Sharib confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I got a call from the production house and they offered me season 6 of “Bigg Boss””.

“I don’t know yet, I am still contemplating,” Sharib said, adding, “I will discuss it with Toshi bhai because we have a lot of projects in the pipeline, so it will need some serious planning if I decide to participate.”
“I can’t sit at a place for more than two hours, leave alone staying in a house for so many weeks, but like I said, I am still contemplating,” he said.

Bigg Boss is a reality show where celebrity contestants stay in a single house for about three months, with no connection to the outside world.

The winners of Bigg Boss’ last five seasons had been Rahul Roy, Ashutosh Kaushik, Vindu Dara Singh, Shweta Tiwari and Juhi Parmar.

Facebook, Twitter bug TV stars

Mumbai, June 13 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) Looks like social networking sites are not a rage only on college campuses, but the Facebook and Twitter bug seems to have bitten TV heartthrobs too.

Last heard, hunky actor Gurmeet Choudhary, who plays Yash in Zee TV’s show Punarvivaah is glued to his Twitter account and tweets at least 5 times a day.

On the other hand, his Punarvivaah co-star Kratika Sengar, the “ex- Jhansi Ki Rani” is an avid Facebook user.

While Gurmeet is seen updating his followers about his daily activities, his workout regimen and giving fitness and diet tips to fans, Kratika posts pictures with her co-stars from the sets of Punarvivaah and runs what can easily be called an official fan page for the show on her own Facebook page.

There are innumerable fans of the actress who keep telling her what outfits they loved her in on the show and even discussing what they liked or did not like about the previous day’s episode.

“I look at it as a fabulous instant feedback mechanism. No better way to gauge the pulse of the audience than to actually hear it directly from them and Facebook lets me do just that,”says Kratika.

“And it’s, more often than not, so fulfilling as one realises that people really love you and your work so much. One feels vindicated for all the hours of sweat and toil on the sets .. it all feels so worthwhile!” she says.

Her recent posts reveal that she is missing the good ol’ times at ND studio when she shot for Jhansi Ki Rani and the long drives she went out for in the rains last year.

Gurmeet says, “Currently I am a Twitter boy. I find Twitter safe to use and for me it is a good medium to stay in touch with all my fans, friends, family, co-stars, actors, etc. It updates you with everyone’s lives. Life would be a dull if it weren’t for Twitter. “
