While Sammy is an eccentric, high-spirited and has an uncanny knack of finding humor in the weirdest of situations, Ali is quieter and more mature. When the two friends travel a thousand miles to deliver three letters as a part of their film school assignment, little do they know that the journey that they have embarked on will give them a new meaning of life.

The film stars Salman Khan, Preity Zinta, Mithun Chakraborty, Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Sohail Khan, Vatsal Sheth and Amrita Arora. The film was written by Aseem Arora. The film was set to be released on June 6, 2008, but is now set to be released some time in October 2008 during Diwali.

This film borrows its plot from the 2004 movie The Motorcycle Diaries (film)

Lal Ronger Duniya (2008)

Lal Ronger Duniya (2008)

The life and struggle of the red-light sex workers - this is the theme of the movie Lal Ronger Duniya by director Nilanjan Bhattacharya. Sorry to write about the film little late. The film was released in Calcutta on September 20th, 2008. Debashree (as Dalia Karmakar) is a prostitute who dreams about becomming a political leader. Tathagata Mukherjee (as Himon) is good looking newcomer hero in Kolkata Tollywood playes the role of a boy from a reputed family but followed his sister to brothel as a child. Locket is in double role as Shiuli and Mehuli. Too many people fall in love with Tathagata or expressed their soft corner. Swarnakamal represents NGO. Rajesh Sharma plays the role of a experienced PIMP without any question!

The film is full with common slangs of red-light areas. Rajesh Sharma, Debasree, Locket, Tathagata did a goog job. But still, there is probably no any reason stong enough to watch the film in the movie hall!
