Brief Review:

Surer Akashe is another Super Hit Blockbuster Bengali Cinema by the Hit couple Tapas Pal - Debashree Roy. Their greatest success was however in the Bengali film “Bhalobasa Bhalobasa“.  Similar to this movie, they made another successful blockbuster movie called Surer Sathi together. A nice musical Bengali that you will like to watch. Nothing great other than songs by Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle and other singers. Usual love story, but still a better movie compared to other movies in this periods. Debashree Roy is always an added plus point. She is so sweet and cute. You can just watch her even if you do not want to see the movie!

Sajani Go Sajani is another good direction by Tarun Majumdar. This time we see Sanjob Dasgupta and Mahesweta Roy playing the leading roles. Anup Kumar and Utpal Dutta are at their best. We also have great music composition by V. Valsara and awsome playback voice by Sabina Yasmin, Kumar Sanu, Sibaji Banerjee and so on.

Iman Kalyan is one of the greatest Bengali movies that will live ever and ever after! Whom should I talk? Awesome Uttam Kumar? Dashin romantic Dipnkar Dey? Terrific Supriya Debi? funniest Anup Kumar? Well there are too much to say. In few words Inam Kalyan is definitely of the best movies made by “Uttam-Supriya” however Dipankar Dey emerged most prominently in this beautiful Bengali fil full of humor and comedy sequences. Dont forget that we also have great songs by Manna Dey such as Fuler Bone Bhromor Elo

However, we have too powerful starcast in this movie, the storyline is weak. At least I do not consider this one as an example of Uttam Kumar movie! Well it is still better than some of Uttam Movies with Mala Sinha. The best bengali film by Mala Sinha was with Kishore Kumar in Lukochuri. I don’t recall any other bengali cinema by Mala Sinha that cought my attention. Well, you will still love to see the movie just because there are too many people who can nover act bad. For example - Tulsi Chakrabarty, Chhabi Biswas, Pahadi Sanyal! Well others did good job too but simply not the best by either Uttam Kumar or Mala Sinha. The story is based on poverty and struggle of two young fella. Well.. you watch it and tell us the rest!!

You will definitely enjoy the movie a lot. So, sit back and play!
