New Delhi, July 2 (Calcutta Tube) Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has wrapped up shooting for the Malayalam film ‘Kandahar’ that features southern superstar Mohanlal in the lead role.
The actor stayed in Ooty for the three-day shooting.
‘An overexcited crew on set has been exemplary in attitude and work ethic – there is this culture among the film fraternity in the south. There are smiling faces, group keepsake photographs, bonhomie and respect and the desire to serve; wonderful and admirable qualities that I shall carry back with me,’ Amitabh posted on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com.
‘Thank you ‘Kandahar’, Mohanlal, Major Ravi (director) and the entire unit. I have enjoyed working with you,’ he added.
Amitabh gave his nod to the film only because of his admiration for Mohanlal. He plays a north Indian character in the film.
No other reality shows for Mithun
Seasoned actor Mithun Chakraborty, who featured as grandmaster in Zee TV’s reality show ‘Dance India Dance’, says he doesn’t want to participate in other such shows.
‘I don’t want to do any other show on TV because I am already committed to one. I am someone who tries to do whatever he does with 100 percent commitment,’ Mithun told IANS.
‘I am doing ‘Dance India Dance’ (DID) with Zee and I will also do ‘Dance Bangla Dance’ with Zee only. It is in the sixth season now. As long as I am with Zee, I don’t think, I’ll do any other show now,’ he added.
Kunal Kapoor bored of doing parkour alone
Actor Kunal Kapoor loves to learn new skills for his films, but says he is bored of practicing parkour, an acrobatic street sport, for action film ‘Doga’.
‘Does any kind soul know of anyone or any group that practices parkour in Mumbai? It’s rather boring to jump around on your own,’ Kunal posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
‘Anyone that provides information will be rewarded by a backflip!! Okay, let’s make that two!’ he added.
Kunal will soon be seen as a young politician in Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Lamhaa’, releasing July 16.
