Kolkata, Dec 28 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS): Rising Sun Films and Screenplay Films launched the music of Bengali movie ‘Aparajita Tumi’ at south Kolkata’s Starmark on Wednesday.
Popular music director Shantanu Moitra, director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury,Anindya Chattopadhyay and Chandril Bhattacharya of Bengali band Chandrabindoo, producer Shoojit Sircar, singer Ruparkar, scriptwriter Shyamal Sengupta and actor Kalyan Ray were present at the occasion.
The audience cheered as Shantanu Moitra, Rupankar and Anindya Chattopadhyay performed at the event.
Shantanu Moitra said, “I researched a lot for this film. According to characters and body languages, I have composed the songs. I worked hard for this film.”
“Bengal is doing great work and this is a golden era,” he added.
Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury said, “Every song has a different mood and beautiful poetry.”
Ruparkar said, “All the songs have nostalgic feelings in them and the lyrics are very strong.”
Sreya Ghosal, Rupankar, Anindo have lent their voices in the album.
Aparajita Tumi is based on the novel ‘ Dui Naari Hate Tarabari’ by Bengali novelist Sunil Gangopathaya.
It will hit the silver screen in January.
