Debjyoti Mishra at 'Uro Chithi' Bengali movie music launchKolkata, Aug 3 (Calcutta Tube / IBNS) Tollywood music composer Debojyoti Mishra who just got rave reviews for his creations in ‘Autograph’, ‘Iti Mrinalini’ is all set to captivate the hearts of music lovers through his compositions in Bengali movie “Uro Chithi”.
The critically acclaimed music composer appeared to be emphatic about the songs of the movie all set to hit the screens on 12th of August, this year.
Speaking at the music launch on Tuesday he said, “I know we tend to say this at every launch event but Uro Chithi is really very special for me.”
“The songs are Calcutta’s and Kolkata’s songs and they have a unique flavour. Some of the songs have a Spanish touch along with Spanish lyrics and there is also a great party song,” he added.
The launch party was attended by several members of the star cast including Indraneil Sengupta, Srilekha Mitra, Rajatabha Dutta, Tanushree Chakraborty, Locket Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh and Sudipta Chakraborty.
Singer and composer Anindo Chatterjee of “Chandribindo” fame commented film, saying, “Without Debuda’s help and also help from everybody else, Uro Chithi would not have taken wings and flown.”
He praised the work done by the upcoming singers and then added, “A lot of talent is coming up in Bengal.”
Debojyoti, upon query said that his favourite song of the movie is a track called “Din Jaye”.
“The song that touched me the most is the song called Din Jaye, which has been sung by Anindo,” he remarked.
